A 20"x16" oil on linen portrait is $400. The process includes sitting for about an
hour while I begin the painting. I take photos during this time and reference
them to complete the painting over the next week or so.
$100 is paid at the time of sitting for materials. The remainder is due if you are
happy with the result.
Portraits painted completely from life are also possible (and sometimes more
interesting). A 20"x16" painting takes from 2-4 sittings of one-two hours (with
breaks). Ideally, sittings occur within a one-two week time frame.
