February 2010, opening January 28th, 6-9 Living Room Gallery (presented by Bridget Larrabee) 1422 NE Alberta Bridget has invited the printmakers of Bite Studio to show their work at this beautiful space on Alberta. Love In Print February 2010, opening February 5th 6-10 2000 SE 7th Avenue Thirty-six printmakers show their love - on paper, with ink, copper, wood, and more. This year, 40% of sales benefit p:ear. P:ear creatively mentors teens and young adults who are homeless or in transition. Update: Oooh, oooh, I just finished a new etching with Chris Haberman "Lover Madly" - and almost have "Seeking Neptune" done (color plates with text). AND have just begun receiving some sweet prints, hilarious prints, wonky prints, for the show. Around 8:30 expect a performance of Tom Marioni's Beer Drinking Sonata.
May 2010, opening May 7th 2507 SE Clinton Annie Meyer, local printmaker, has a wonderful studio/gallery - housing her saturated prints (gorgeous). She's invited me to show my prints with her. I'm thrilled! Gallery Futuroso, View/Respond-Recall/Dive Fall 2010 or Spring 2011 Location TBD, Opening TBA Join me for an ecstatic show of new open-air oil paintings shown alongside paintings from memory of the same sites. Astounding, and beautiful how our minds remember things. Painting on location for hours at a time creates physical, emotional, and visual memories that I explore on a larger scale, often on the following day. |
